The beginnings of NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto™ can be traced all the way back to 1938, when Nestlé created an easy way to prepare a quality cup of coffee that could retain coffee’s natural flavour. This new product was named NESCAFÉ® and was first introduced in Switzerland, on April 1st, 1938.

NESCAFÉ’s® popularity continued to grow. In the 1950s, with the advent of coffee bar culture, coffee became the ‘in’ drink.

Since then, the NESCAFÉ®  range has continued to grow, bringing to coffee a level of passion, competence and inventiveness that is unmatched by any other brand.
